The boy groans and attempts to pick it up without looking only to knock it off, making it fall behind the bed. The phone continues to buzz and the boy slumps out of his bed attempting to grab the phone from behind his bed. When he finally reaches it he finds that he had missed a call. He finds that the person calling was a friend of his who is coming to his house. The boy begins to panic and rushes to call the girl back. She answers and explains to him that she is on her way and should be there in a quarter of an hour. The boy expresses that his delayed response was an accident and that he is ready and waiting. As he hangs up he springs into life, panicking and rushing to get ready. Launching the sheets off the bed the boy turns on a tap in the bathroom and begins to fill a sink with water, sprinting back to his room to make the bed and open the blind. The low sun blinds him as he hears the tap still running, assuming it is nearly full - He scrubs his face and empties the sink; as he does the doorbell rings. They boy holds his stomach as he panics. He looks in pain as he re-enters his room to get dressed. The doorbell continues to ring as he stumbles down the stairs, still clutching his stomach. Opening the door reveals a female around the same age as the boy. The girl asks if he will let her in, and proceeds to push past him in order to escape the cold. The boy apologies for him timing and asks her if she would like anything to eat or drink. She agrees and requests a cup of tea and asks him if he is ready to go out. The boy looks puzzled so the girl reminds him that today they are going out to go Christmas shopping. He looks slightly nervous and replies in with a sheepish yes. He makes the tea and hands it to her. She lies on the sofa with the tea at her side and asks him what he would like for Christmas. He wants to admit his feelings towards her however but instead replies by asking her what she would like. She replies that she would like happiness for Christmas. In addition to this she also has states that she has a Christmas wish - for the boy to take her out to the town. She then smiles and talks about how long they have known one another over social media but have never met before until today. The girl smiles and lets out an excited giggle, asking the boy if he is ready to go out to town. The boy nervously replies asking her if she would like to play some video games. She senses his hesitance and asks what is wrong, mentioning how he made promises to her over social media that he would take her out and treat her like a princess. The boy assures her that he would but says that he is suffering from a cold and that going outside wouldn't be best for him. She doesn't believe him. She continues to give the boy with an unwanted ultimatum. Asking him why he is so different in person and that an since this is the first time they have met they should attempt to make it special. She tells him that she thought they had something special - that they had something. After this is said the boy looks noticeably more sad. The girl sees this but keeps to what she just said. She walks to the front door and asks if he is coming with her. He begs her not to leave, she responds saying that she can't go on like this - she opens the door - She looks at him with watery eyes saying that she will walk out with or without him... the real him.
